Foundation work on the Courrière site.

On the site of the Storm wind farm in Courrière we are working hard on the foundations of the three wind turbines that will rise from the ground here next year.

Because of the subsoil conditions, this project requires rather exceptional foundation work. For turbine one, micro-piles are being used. For the other two, the ground was first consolidated, after which the base plate can be poured. The construction pits are now being fully prepared for the start of the braiding works.

At the beginning of next year, all the large parts of the turbines will arrive on site. After that the construction of the wind turbines can begin.
