Storm launches first wind farm site in Wallonia!

A few weeks ago, we started construction on our first wind turbines in Wallonia. The construction site is located between Courrière and Assesse, east of the A4 and E411. The wind farm will feature three wind turbines with a tip height of 180 metres and a combined power output of 10.8 MW. Once operational, the wind farm will generate sufficient green power for 7,200 households.

Construction is coming along nicely. The working platforms for the three wind turbines are ready and the access road has been built. The cable for the entire wind farm has been laid, as well. Currently, foundation works are well underway.

If everything goes according to plan, the wind farm will start producing green energy in the summer of 2023.
