At the construction site in Lokeren, the construction of concrete towers has started. The concrete part of the four wind turbines is made up of 21 rings, each 3.8 m in height. They therefore constitute a total height of 80.5 m. An adapter ring of 3 m will be mounted on top, which forms the transition to the steel tower segment (23 m) that finishes the wind turbine.

The total height of the tower itself is than 107m. A gondola of 2m will be mounted on top. If one of the blades of the wind turbine is facing upwards, the total length is 150m. This is also called the tip height of the wind turbine.

The concrete rings of the tower are stacked on top of each other with a 100-meter crane.

After finishing the 4 the concrete towers, the placement of the steel tower segments will begin.
