Erpe-Mere

Storm is developing a 10.2-hectare agrivoltaic solar park in Erpe-Mere. The project site is situated to the south-west of the municipality, on a former land reclamation site and old landfill. The solar park follows the principle of dual land use: current agricultural activity (pasture) will be maintained, whilst renewable energy is generated on the same area. In addition to energy production, the focus is on ecological added value. The design includes provision for the planting of hedges and trees, which will contribute to biodiversity, landscape quality and natural buffering
