The wind farm in Lokeren in the province of East Flanders is just North of the E17 highway near the town of Heiende. This particular wind farm has been operational since the start of 2017, providing renewable energy for approximately 5.500 families. 263 local residents of Lokeren, Zele, Lochristi and Berlare have signed up for the Storm CVBA cooperative.
