Foundation works in full swing.

A wind turbine is very high, and should therefore be firmly anchored in the ground. There are two ways to do this: the piles on which the foundation is built are either drilled or driven. When drilled, a hole is drilled in the ground which is then filled with concrete. When driven, the piles are knocked into the ground by a pile driver. In this wind farm, the piles were driven.

Once the poles are in the ground, the construction pit is dug. The bottom is finished with a purity of concrete in order to avoid the yard becoming a pool of mud. This is how the work can be carried out properly.

Afterwards, the arming of the foundation will be braided with concrete irons.

During or after the braiding of the foundation, the formwork for the foundation is placed. This means that a wall is built around the braided arming. The foundation can be poured full of concrete, through this wall.

The concrete has to dry for 28 days and then the foundation is ready.
